It's pretty full on. If you hit it hard enough you can get both wheels off the ground at once.I so nearly rode that gutter next to your place, but thought better of it...

They come in very handy as you age and it gets harder to swing your leg over that high to mount / dismountYeah, I've never needed one riding city bike paths either...
Yes, don't you hate sending it off a gutter and then seeing how much travel you have actually used even before you have seen any dirt.On big drops it's good to. What I mean by big drops is riding off the gutter on my way to the bike track.
I have learnt that the best thing to do is cut that dam o ring right off that fork. It save the embarrassment and disappointmentYes, don't you hate sending it off a gutter and then seeing how much travel you have actually used even before you have seen any dirt.
Even if I had the money I just couldn't do it.
Buy 2 and flick the light cycle then? If we did a group buy on 1 wheel we could take turns sharing it?I'm getting desperate - Light Bicycle shipping options are limited
You guys who do the hucking to flat are crazy, no wonder you wear a helmet. Sheer madnessOn big drops it's good to. What I mean by big drops is riding off the gutter on my way to the bike track.
Does no one else lean the bike down towards you before swinging a leg over? They come in very handy as you age and it gets harder to swing your leg over that high to mount / dismount
That require having a good sense of balance though. I'd just fall overDoes no one else lean the bike down towards you before swinging a leg over?
For that price I'd just go SLXRemember back in the day when you could import XT for these numbers?

That's MTBDirect for Deore.
I wonder if we are getting more quality now in lower level components that the price is still relative, minus the wank factor of running xt or xtr, or is this a true price increase.Remember back in the day when you could import XT for these numbers?

I still remember fondly the days of 9 speed XT cassettes for under $50 each that weighed half of what a current 12 speed cassette and lasted twice as long because your triple on the front meant you didn't need to continuously cross chain the crap out of your drivetrain. I think in around 100,000km offroad I wore out three big rings, 10-12 middle rings and 4 (maybe 5) granny rings and 20 x $40 KMC x10SL chains. Price per km was a lot cheaper back then.Remember back in the day when you could import XT for these numbers?

Tempting, but I don't own a tricycle.
