Moore wondering why you came on your DH bike.Dual control levers? Really?
Good point. This was the Rocky. If it had been the 222 maybe.Moore wondering why you came on your DH bike.
The Specialized Stumpjumper increases the chainstay length for XL and XXL sizes!Static chain stay lengths on all sizes. I know some brands are shifting on this (norco etc) but it’s ridiculous for others to tout a 0.5 degree change in HA or 5mm growth in reach then leave 435mm chain stay length on XS through to XXL.
Youre doing it wrong - you need a new bikeThe industry seems to think introducing new standards will force people to buy or upgrade products more often.
It has had the opposite effect for me. I've stopped buying parts completely because if I upgrade my cassette or drivetrain I'll need a new hub, which would be boost so I could remove the 142 to 148 adapters in the frame, and if the front wheel was boost I would need a new fork, so basically they can all get fked.
New standards have completely stopped all upgrades on my bike for about 4 years now, anyone else in the same boat?
Still running 26" on all my bikes, but now they are starting to become retro/vintage the price is going up and parts drying up and I might be forced to do a big upgrade in a year or two. Box 9spd wide range cassette is keeping me going for now, but I look forward to Boost 145.348 and 27.243" wheelsNew standards have completely stopped all upgrades on my bike for about 4 years now, anyone else in the same boat?
I expect this to be on my tombstone.Static chain stay lengths on all sizes. I know some brands are shifting on this (norco etc) but it’s ridiculous for others to tout a 0.5 degree change in HA or 5mm growth in reach then leave 435mm chain stay length on XS through to XXL.
I have to give props to Specialized for their adjustable chainstay length on the Fuse hardtail frame.I expect this to be on my tombstone.
They blather on about 3mm drop in BB height due to a flip chip, but do nothing about rear centre.
Nothing says lazy, arrogant and thoughtless to me in the world of bikes than this. It's the only thing I don't like about my Paradox. It probably isn't as much of an issue on a HT but I've been wrong before.
I don't care how good the bike looks or reviews, if the rear is the same size I'm never buying it.
I just got a new rear wheel - due to the pissweak oem one wearing out ( there may have been some other issues )boost, extra boost????
The fuck, I want a new wheel...
C- for effort though? XD is an open standard but Shimano made Microspline. Couldn’t use the competitors standard.Yeah good on SRAM for setting an excellent standard, one for the rest to adopt.
