The RF rims were made from old melted coke cans. Soft as butter. Cheap from crc tho. Buy some dt 471/511 and see if it's the same...

Bontrager Line wheels too.

I rebuilt #1 sons with DT Swiss M502 and new DT Comps, we are only persisting with the WTB rims because we already had the spare rims.

I got sucked into the rf arc rims when they were $100 down to $30... But what a waste. I go through rims due to a lack of talent, and maybe a desire to live the good ole days. Rims are a consumable item. To survive, I now put the weak stuff on the front. Suits me, I can see the front, I know where the rear is but idk so much. As long as it's not above me or to far infront.
