I wouldn't have thought he fitted the tyres himself though. Surely that'd be the mechanic's job, and thus also should be the bloke getting handy with the Sharpie? Guess it's a pretty big insult to a sponsor to be considered worse than Bonty tyres though.

You decide to use other tyres (in front of a global audience) and put the whole teams contract in jeopardy...

Ive had a rear tyre on a van explode at freeway speed, compounds go rock hard on the other van and be like ice in the wet. Multiple beads tear on the MX bike, worse since going from Brazil to Indo manufacturing,
