Average times (for U15 division)

Hi all.
I just recently got my new bike and for the first time i went to Ourimbah for a ride this weekend (hadn't gone there for a few months so thought it was time to give it a go).

Anyway i'm wanting to get into racing next year (at Ourimbah obviously) and want to know the average time for the U15 (i'll be 14 by next year). I got 5.30 mins this weekend (i could definatly have improved on that i just didn't have many runs to try).
So i consider that fine on the circumstance's that i didnt have many runs to improve more and that i hadn't ridden there in ages. But... if i want to race i obviously need to improve alot if i hope to stand any chance. So i would like a good time to aim for, not a time set by a crazy insane mofo, just a decent time for my division.
Thanks.

P.S. I Couldn't look at the race results because i do not have Microsoft Excel and have tryed and just do not have any other possible programs to use.

bear in mind you always seem to go faster on race day. adrenalin and nerves i think.
Thats true, but if i can practice and increase my regular time then on race day i'll just go even faster. I don't think adrenalin alone could take a minute off my time :D

I suggest not to take the fire trail as you will be disqualified. The top two under 15 leaders as posted by Chris are experienced/seansoned riders with a exposure to racing in club, state & national level events over the past few years. The practice run time you mentioned is great & you can only improve over time, so come along & enjoy the day & watch the top level riders navigate the track.

Sunday the 26th October is our last race for 2008 & it will be good one come along & introduce self to us.

Cheers Wayne

Cheers mate. yep, i'm going on sunday with 3 other mates. Just look for the guy with the unusually coloured bighit (purple + white), you probabally won't miss it.
I'm not going to cheat, i'm pretty much just in it for fun, anything except last place is just a bonus to me :p
I heard that we're taking the switchback line aswell as the normal line, that should be fun as i've never ridden that line before.

Cheers, should see some people there. I'll probs be taking shots to so i might get one of you.

Ben.
