Rode the new jump on Thursday, goes perfect. There is a landing on the triple-step now and you have perfect speed for the jump. Helped Brad fix up a couple of other little things too, so the tracks running sick!
See ya all tomorrow:cool:

SCV Imports Atomlab Trailpimp DJ/street bikes Auction

SCV Imports http://www.scvimports.com.au/ has generously donated not one but two Atomlab Trailpimp DJ/street bikes to CCOMTB.

These bikes will be auctioned (not raffled as stated earlier) immediately prior to the presentation at the Club Championships on 14 November. You don’t have to bring your cheque book or your wad of cash, you can bid and pay up to a week later, and collect your bike from either the Central Coast or Sydney.

So stick around after your race run and have a bid on one of these two fantastic bikes:

Awesome day well done to CCOMTB! Thanks to all the volunteers.
Congratulations to Nathan Cowling and David Maggs the owners of New Atomlab DJ Bikes

Sounds like its gonna be a sick day! I was looking more forward to racing the champs than any of the other rounds this year. Managed to fracture my kneecap at Funnelweb a couple of weeks ago after driving my knee into a rock, so i'm out. Sounds like the times might improve with the new addition? Are we gonna see a 3:20 something from a Master 1+2 Wayno?
Is that why you weren't there!?
No I didn't get into the 20's, 3.32 instead (I got beat by Dan Lyons he did a 3.27) I was way to lazy and it was way to hot to go any faster I think I plowed every jump on the track
Thanks to Glenn S and Adam D for breaking into my car after I locked the keys in it.

On ya CCOMTB…

Thanks to all who put in a huge effort - I had such an awesome day and can't wait to try out B grade for the 2011 series.
Yeeeeoooooowww!!!;)

Cheers for a great day CCOMTB. Also a big thanks to TBSM for lending me the Marin xlt for the day. Shame I flatted on the race run, but a super fun bike to ride on.

Could anyone tell me how long it usually takes for the photos to be put up from the day and where I could find them?

Look forward to hitting up the trail again soon.

Had a great year of racing again this year, Adam D and I both had crap race runs yesterday which was a shame but I had such a great day I went back in and rode til about 6pm.

Thanks to all the volunteers and organisers for a great days racing. Was a great way to get back into the scene after a 2 year recovery from knee surgery, the vibe at CCOMTB is always so good and the track was in great shape. The heat was nasty but was lovin the A/C buses. Bummed I couldn't stick around for the presentation though.. See you all next year:)

Race times and results

Results from CCOMTB Club Championships on Sunday 14 November attached.

These don't necessarily reflect the medals and prizes, as there were several place getters who were not CCOMTB members. Special mention to James Egan, who got the Bronze in C Grade, and a hoodie, and the biggest round of applause of all the competitors. Gotta be in it to win it!!

It was a warm day, which might have kept entries down, we had 87 riders. No major incidents, and every one seemed to have a good time.

SCV Imports http://www.scvimports.com.au/ generously donated two Atomlab Trailpimp DJ/street bikes to CCOMTB. One was auctioned, and one was raffled, raising over $1,200 for the club. Thanks Wayno for organising this incredible donation.

Blacklake http://www.blacklakegear.com/ donated T-Shirts for each of the category winners. Thanks to Lukas for stepping up with this generous contribution.

Our lack of practice at giving out prizes at races showed, with a bit of a delay between finishing racing and the presentation. Sorry about that, and we promise to be better organised on this aspect of the event next year.

Our last event for the year is the series presenation and AGM on Sunday 5 December at Tall Timbers Hotel.
