Sorry but that's a straw man I didn't build. Why don't we just close this thread? Clearly anyone below a nurse/epidemiologist/immunologist isn't qualified to comment on or interpret any scientific literature. So what are we all doing here?

what are the numbers in the cell representative of?This is interesting... (In Vic). Look at the difference in <20 age group (mum and dad make the booking, take them to the GP) vs the 20-30 (I'm fine, won't catch it, plus I'm young and fit so it's basically just a flu anyway, and Joe Rogan said vaccines are bad). Still 80+% in all brackets, but the diff is interesting. Do wonder if the proportionally longer lead time to 2nd dose in 20-30 reflects more AZ coverage though.

in your last post you asked not to be insulted, then you make this post witch is literally begging for it.Why don't we just close this thread? Not directed at you, I just quoted you for context.Sorry but that's a straw man I didn't build.
If a nurse can't interpret scientific data, then what are we doing here? This guy is a nurse for fucks sake, and you are an ignoramus.
ill try and answer this without being rude. Why don't we just close this thread? Clearly anyone below a nurse/epidemiologist/immunologist isn't qualified to comment on or interpret any scientific literature. So what are we all doing here?
heard of scientific consensus? How can anyone on this forum know whether an interpretation of any data by anyone is true and correct?
By reading the papers yourself and seeing how any conclusions drawn differ from that of the authors. Not directed at you, I just quoted you for context.
This was the literal rebuttal to the video I posted...

and doctors, and epedimologists and scientists and by the people who make the fricken stuff.By reading the papers yourself and seeing how any conclusions drawn differ from that of the authors.
Why would you go with the opinion of one nurse who has clearly misinterpreted data and quotes from papers that have been retracted over the opinion of thousands of other nurses?
That just collapsed a part of my brain that I'm a little worried I might need in the future.Glaciers, gender, and science: A feminist glaciology framework for global environmental change research

Exactly. Why invent an unnecessary conspiracy? I don't blindly trust big phara (or anyone for that matter) but that doesn't mean I'll jump to some sort of conclusion that isn't evidence based. There is now a sufficient body of data on vaccinated v. unvaccinated outcomes that it is totally clear that the vaccines are effective. Maybe they're not as effective as claimed. Maybe big pharma have gilded the lilly in their data but that doesn't mean that if they're off in their data that you throw the baby out with the bath water.I can understand a reluctance to trust Big Pharma's motives in a general sense, but to think that all over the globe specialist scientists, ICU doctors and policy makers are collectively in on it, or have somehow fallen for a sales pitch, just isn't credible.

What is often found in a critique by a crackpot is some little piece of the puzzle that might be untrue (or ambiguous) which is then latched onto and used as evidence that the whole thing is untrue. This is bullshit. It's a bit like claiming newtonian physics is a crock of shit because it breaks down as you approach the speed of light.
I'm not sure you're ready to hear the blunt answer to that questionNow if someone could please explain to me how my friend (and that's now becoming a long stretch), who's a practising ED nurse is the USA, 3 years out of training, can be ardently anti vax. I'm lost.
