If you have a beard, guess what...., you're an idiot.

Bam...too hard basket as soon as I saw more than one swipe. I'm all about the quick shave...
Fair enough, it isn't for everyone but once you go there and get the idea, it is hard to go back, apparently like a Kool Aid bike vs. the old unfashionable MTB. You won't get a better shave at home, period,

I used to get rashes and clogged blades from the cartridge and canned shaving foam world and this fixed most of it once I got the hang of it.

Shaving like grandad kind of works well, know ye not.....hmmmmmm.

A shaving brush and a decent soap (truefitt and hill) made shaving much better for me, canned shaving foam is crapola.

The brush was just a cheapy ($30 horse hair one) but the soap was a bit exy at $40 but it's lasted 18 months thus far, about a 1/3 to go but.

Fair comment, I have tight arsed canned shaving foams and gels before and they were all thickish.
I'll admit I mostly got pissy with the rashes from whatever I used and the rude pricing of replacement cartridges.

The cartridges are dear, but I stretch em out and get 3 weeks out of them at least if I shave every day, if I slack off for a few days (usually weekend) they suck if they aren't new.

I'm too busy not getting laid...
Shaving with the double edge can be just as fast as with the plastic crap and you have the added pleasure of using a well crafted tool rather than being a tool and using the latest contour hugging dual suspension, self cleaning garbage from shock, Gillette etc. I love seeing what marketing crap they come up with next to sell their product.

I can't put canned saving cream anywhere near my face as I breakout with severe dermatitis and being a human chewbacca is a living nightmare. I find using a hair trimmer on a weeks growth and then using a razor blade afterwards makes them last a bit longer.

There are some things you just should not visualise. I'm still a bit scarred from the mental image of @moorey s peached fuzzed southern end.
Just helping a Bro out, saves on Chamois creme too.

Just cause its hairy doesn’t mean it smells. You must’ve had some manky girlies dude.

The stupid thing, well to me anyhow, with the multi bladed razors is that the first blade in the cartridge should be the only one to cut the offending hair. It will also remove most of the foam.

From that, you must be left with the remaining blades with maybe a bit more uncut hair to remove with little to no foam. It makes some sense why we get rashes and end up disposing cartridges when you would think the first one in line would have most of the wear while the last one should be in much better condition.

It all sounds good to have many blades but implemented a bit sucky when you ponder.

Note to self: Try to think about more important stuff in future, damn........

Sounds like comparing a classic steel HT to the latest pivotty CF Kool Aid blinglebike :)

A few of the DE razors date from the early 1900's or so and they still look like coming from that era.
No pivots on these guys, just fully rigid metal and one blade.

You need to shave your balls man, women love clean balls.
Edit ( only milfs like carpet chest too )
Nah man...with this hipster natural manly man thing my chest is finally a hit. It's the chest equivalent of 70s porn bush.

Think of the added strength in the right wrist and arm that must be developing.
You don't even have to take your arm out for an expensive dinner and dancing by the moonlight. Winning, almost........
Maybe I could specialise in mature women with stuck jars? I'm good at popping jars open.

Who me? Nooooo only the finest quality my "any port in a storm" mentality can find.

I'm not into the disposable razors. Those things are wierd. But the cartridge things last me long times and are less likely to flay my beautiful face.

No way Jose! Those things are intricately designed feats of modern engineering...
