Expectation. You're not getting a 7 car garage, 4 bed home on 600m2 for 450K within your area. Or I pay rent every week so why won't you lend me 1mil to live in the city? Or why do I have to pay interest, why can't the bank just lend me the money for free?? End rant. Also folks: vics average rent is now than average mortgage repayment, Boom! And block size average is 400m2, smallest cut on volume is 16x16!

That's coming! Thing is, the economy will be so tanked you won't want to take on any debt.

In these more modern times, it makes me think 300 grand for 40 hectares with a decent little mudbrick house wasn't such a bad deal.

I’m starting to think “air conditioning fault” is what they tell passengers, and is just code for whatever is wrong with the plane...

We spent a bit more...not a lot more...but it’s not a run of the mill house.
I look at what we could have got then, let alone now, anywhere near the city, and have no regerts.
