If they most likely walked or rode to the side where the water drained off it wouldn't of happened but what makes it worse is that there was an event held in the area, I hope it wasn't that group that caused this because they should have known better or at least go back to fix it up.
The few trails nearby are close.d I coudl sneak up the local but I know if has some sections that rarely get sun and it will be slippery now.
Best to give it more time. I serviced the forks on Big Blue today ready for later.

We have enough nice weather in this city and plenty of bike paths if really need to spin the pedals.
@hifiandmtb has shown honour to Loftus and RNP damp trails today. Kudos sir.

Results are in: MRI showed a horizontal meniscus (the knees shock absorber) tear in left knee, with meniscal flap, so zero chance of healing on its own.

A straight vertical tear which is the most common should heal in 2-8 weeks, I'm around 11 weeks now with a horizontal flap, so it will be surgery soon.

That explains why I can ride, but can't walk much more that a few hundred metres.

Nice one ! I still have to go see the specialist so no light at the end of the tunnel just yet.

Was hoping to do the 900km Mawson trail again this year, don't know what numerous 100km+ days of dirt will do to it... looks like I'll find out if they don't get a move on.

I hiked the Inca Trail with my torn meniscus, but I was high on coca leaves and Chile's finest anti inflam medication (600mG Ibuprofen tablets X2) for the 5 days..not recommended though!

I doubt that. You're just less in the red now.
I may not win today's game but it was a very satisfying goal, still gloating.

Been defending my supernatural ability to ride a bike, but not walk the mutt for nearly 3 months, was good to get real medical proof that I was right all along :D

Might even get the winter warmers on and go for a celebratory night ride.

Welcome back to the outside world. A messy coffee spill probably isn't the way you wanted it to go.
Nothing says freedom like a spill that keeps on giving. All those dead were full of the shit. Got most of the moisture up now but there's coffee grinds everywhere. I don't even know where the vacuum lives here!

Even if you clean up the grinds, you will live that coffee smell for sometime yet.
