Fark, how do you have a working laptop that's over ten years old?
Is it a Sun Microsystems console running SPARC Solaris that will likely outlast human kind?
It's a battle axe!
2008 Mac Book Pro, aluminium body (complete with dents) upgradable RAM maxed out, new Crucial SSD.
The touch pad is pretty buggered so it's USB mouse only.
Not my primary device anymore, but stoked with the overhaul.

Im still on a 2012 MBP as my main device, even renders video projects for uni still, just sounds and feels like a jet about to take off while doing it.

The human brain and it’s processing power. Amazing what we can learn.

LTIH: Brain. Approach non-moving moving walkway. Notice, prepare to walk as normal. Brain takes over and adjusts walk to suit new moving platform - which isn’t. Brain says ‘what are you doing? That wasn’t moving’. Approach end of non-moving moving walkway. Brain: ‘ok carry on, normal pace, this ain’t moving’. Brain then adjusts final step to return to normal ground from a moving walkway and get weird miss-step in reverse. Brain: you knew that it wasn’t moving, why did you almost stumble?

I think it's Anning that not getting the yoke, I would do the same as Eggboy if the opportunity arose although I would probably be called out for poaching his idea.
