Little Things You Love

Man, I don't get pretzels. They're just shitty bread tied in a pretty knot.

If someone did a ciabatta ring or something I could get excited, but not flippin' pretzels. Sorry (not sorry).

Warm + butter = good.

Rehab, and eating less foods that increase inflammation. & Onsen yes, whisky no.

Well maybe some of these cold and flu pills? You'll feel pretty functional. Maybe 6...is 100mg of caffeine much? Or 120mg of pseudo? Asking for a friend. It didn't seem like much going in, but sleep needs to happen some time this week.

Senzuri fixes all @Dales Cannon . Ask the young Japanese fellow staying alone in the room next door! He was banging away at something all night and hasn't made it out of his room all day! Didn't see him at breakfast nor dinner.

Oh dear, I don't think you've had a good one then - they're amazing when done right.

The feeling that comes from scooping the melted cheese layer from the top of a pasta bake. Try and stop me jerks! Enjoy the rest of the pasta bake loosers..!
This only works when there's someone else to eat the rest of the pasta bake. ;)

took the kids to the cricket this week. At the back they had a couple of video games with long lines, but as the game finished go to jump on an old daytona machine. probably the first multiplayer racing game most of us played. since he enjoyes sim racing at home I had to show him where it all started. kid took the chance to ram me into the wall, just like old times it was.

My nephew surprised me with a present from his recent couple of months in Japan. He remembered that as a kid I would bring him (and his sisters) all sorts of toys and stuff from Japan and other places I visited for work. I had long forgotten. His partner is Japanese and they decided to pay me back as is tradition. Blew me away to be honest.
Anyway. This is what I got, some sort of weird Toyota hybrid car, must be the next prius... ;)

Your challenge now is to make your real life one look the same......

Slowly earning the trust of these cheeky little buggers...

They certainly enjoyed when I chucked the sprinklers on the lawn late afternoon yesterday. One of the boys was bouncing along following the path of the sprinkler getting absolutely walloped by the water. Gave him some tiny specs of cheese to eat and he came right up to me - only about 1 metre away!

Watch out for the missus.

Superspares under promising and over delivering. I rang them on Friday to see how long delivery would take for a replacement engine mount and got told up to 5 working days. Yesterday was a public holiday so it was actually about 1 working day.
The other thing I love is it took less than 45 minutes to swap in the new one. I thought it was going to be a nasty job but didn't even get my hands dirty or lose any skin.
