Asked the LBS about prices as they put a post up about them.
SL2 - 11.5k
SL1 - 15k
LAB71 - 20k

At that price, the SL2 is looking like reasonable value, and with Factory level suspension and XO Transmission the SL1 ain’t bad either

It would be almost perfect if it were not for the headset cable routing. Otherwise, it's a great looking bike.

Nice looking bike from Cannondale. They have called it an Moterra SL when its got Shimano 85nm and a 600w battery, just because the $20k top of the range bike weighs 19.5kg.
The Moterra and Moterra LT gets Bosch CX and 750w battery.

Another confusing use of the SL label on a full power bike.

New Levo SL Comp Alloy
10.2k vs. the 11.9k for the carbon version.
20.2kg vs. 18.8kg listed weights
Similar specs but the alloy is running NX vs. mainly GX for the carbon version
Dunno if I'd go for the alloy version personally when the carbon version isn't super exxy comparitively

although I have a used carbon ebike , it wouldnt be by choice.
As a material carbon is not nice.
Lets face it ebikes are farkin heavy either way , great for stability over gnarly rocks ,shit for lifting on a rack.
trek is heavily discounting at present , watch this space for more ?

They made a lot of expensive bikes lately with not much success. The Lefty was a good fork but I wonder when if it was 160-180 how the stiffness would go, the compliance was good at XC level. Stiffness.... eeh

Uses the new Bosch SX motor and not stupidly priced like the new Optic.
The C2 at 11.5k looks a great deal with TRP Trail EVO brakes, GX T-type, an X2 PE shock and a Rhythm 36. I reckon the spec’d sway me over a Fuel EXe 9.7 which is now inexplicably 12.5k despite keeping the previous spec (which retailed for 11.5k)

Higher then expected warranty costs could easily explain the price rise when you factor in everyone on the way through to the retailer is obtaining more margin.
