Niggling 'injury' whinge

For those frozen shoulder sufferers, watch a few minutes from about 27.30. Your fascia just needs some doofing.

After many physio appointments and two MRIs my nerve tingling has been diagnosed as sciatic nerve impingement caused by a dodgy piriformis muscle.

Hopefully this is some way related to my knee and lower leg problems, I guess I'll do the treatment and find out.

It sounds like you need the 3 S treatment:
- ski
- soak in onsen
- sake

I had frozen shoulder from three months in a sling with a non union collarbone break. When I went in for surgery to have the plate put in, I got the surgeon to break the adhesions while I under the general anesthetic. Woke up with a nicely free shoulder thats been fine since!

Not sure I'd want to undergo surgery just to do the latter though.

Its been done - not the surgery, but having a general anaesthetic. Breaking the adhesions is a pretty violent exercise in literally pulling the arm to full extension, and the pain that would entail is not something you want to be awake for....

Looks like Chef was very lucky to be wearing a helmet. I don't know how this transpired, but imagine a coal rolling good old boy got a bit pissy with the Nancy Lycra fucker not paying for using his road.

Once you are in your late fifties, you are blood pudding if you fall out of the shower let alone diving into urban infrastructure at 20 km/h. So you might as well send it. Though wearing a helmet in the shower is not the best idea...

Depends if you still have hair to wash.

There are times when it is essential.

So I haven't had the treatment yet, didn't want to disrupt my training for Noosa. Actually the real reason is that involves sticking something in my butt, I guess I should try everything at least once (easy, it's a needle, and not a flesh version either !!)

Actually the nerve impingement hasn't been too bad lately, now it's my hip flexors that are unhappy campers !!!

Didn't the guys from tool put some exercise instructions for hip flexors inside the cover of aenema?

Powder, onsen, sake, repeat.

So my shoulder is starting to free up slightly, my appendectomy was over three weeks ago, and my potentially broken toe is mending up, I'm aiming to finally... finally pull on some MTB gear and go for a ride.

I don't give a fuck if I do easy green trails for half an hour, I just want to ride my bike on some dirt and smell the air. And not hurt myself!
