I had two V1 one-up droppers. The one on my Spitfire I altered to take a v2.1 actuator as the outer cable movement of the V1 would bind and cause issues. The other went on husband's Dartmoor Hornet which is now owned by brother in law. That one had the seat clamp issue and was replaced under warranty by MTB Direct. The replacement is still going fine after 3 years and has only needed occasional air pressure top up.
