Trek Superfly SS '12

This was the result of a warrantee outcome of a Trek Rig '12 that provided many an issue for my lbs who tried their very best to save it but the rear drop-outs were far too quarrelsome.
After 6 weeks of no bike to ride, I was given this new frame by my hard working LBS, care of Trek US. They had to have the frame sent out from Wisconsin and 2 weeks later,
I was riding it out of the shop. All up, unsure if I'd be happy to do the entire process again as I was without a bike for 8 weeks (through no fault of LBS) however I've been gifted
a frame that is worth far more than the bike I bought originally! Obviously being a carbon frame it's lighter than the Alu it started out as, and it's super stiff too,
I find it quite comfortable and typically I'm riding for around 2 hours straight and pull up with no issues post ride, if I were fitter I'm sure I'd be happy to keep riding for hours more!
Been riding it for about 3 months now and really looking forward to the warmer months to bring life back to my local trails of YT's and Lysterfield.

looking good before this weekend

I thought I should post a photo or two of my new bike before it gets trashed at the Scott 24 this weekend.
Enjoy. Before anyone asks the weight is about 10.3kg and the wheels are amazing!!!
THe new XTR kit is bloodly awesome, the brakes are the stand out for me though! It is fast pedals very well and just rolls over anything. One of the guys at the local bike shop said "This is the first bike I have been able to easily ride UP stairs" "this thing would be very fast once the track gets a bit bumpy".

I can confirm that the bike is very fast, you just stay seated and pedal pedal pedal, it will climb just about anything and then descend with the best of them. Im in love :) http://www.rotorburn.com/forums/images/icons/icon11.png

Here is my reborn Lynskey Pro29
New 2013 frame to replace the 2010 frame. The new tubing is much larger in diameter and the added tyre clearance is amazing.
New seatpost, headset and cranks too.... don't know weight yet, but don't really care either.

good on you Niki - stick with it - the benefits will out weigh the hurts soon. Perhaps some softer grips, less air in the front tyre and relax that death grip on the bars.

good bike, took for a ride round Glenrock this morning

One thing I struggle with is double sided pedals in technical stuff

Might look at some of the old shimano M324's for a more positive non-locked in side
