Funny thing is Ive havnt weighed it.
It feels damn lite...im guessing somehwere around 9kg (maybe under).

My last 5 bikes have been dual suspension...so im just getting used to a hard tail again.

I actually feel guilty as this bike is just so easy to climb with...it shouldnt be this easy. The Middleburn crankset with the duo (29, 42) is the best ration combination ive ever used. The RS SID World Cup forks are not the stiffest but considering the weight they are pretty damn good.

Ive only had it a 2 weeks...so i'll give you an update once Ive had some decent ride time on it.

Ok
Iorn Horse Pro comp Small
Cane creek headset
Fox fx80 ( Needs 100's )
XT rapid fire shifters
Avid BB7 160mm disc (best by far)
Tyres Richey Millenium 1.95
XTR derailers front N back
Stem N Bars Richey Carbon flat bar 120 stem
XT 9speed casette and chain
Pedals Shimano clipless
Hone cranks (only 2 rings)
Wheels..at the moment a set of $100 speedy wheels I got of Ebay.... Light 24 spoke and I just can't seem to break them on milder XC tracks as I use my duley for the tougher trails and endurance (easier on the back). My Mavics will go back on when I destroy the cheepies, as I only brought them for spares while mine were getting worked on.
WTB laser seat and thompson post.

rips in at 12.2kg

Tech tip
To do a full XTR weight upgrade take a big dump before the race... Heh heh

Yeah good mate, for now anyway. The guy just sent me a new one. So i will just wait till i wear this one out.

With the stand, make the bottom support feet as wide as possible for stability. its great tho.

thanks buddy

That does look sex, but I'm still super sceptical about carbon offroad......

I know a guy who dropped his carbon framed bike, it hit a gutter at the wrong angle and the top tube fractured. With any other frame material, the worst you'd have is a ding.

Despite that, I'd love to own one if I had the coin to spare!
