An225 Mirya?Which plane holds the record for the largest wingspan to have ever flown?
An225 Mirya?Which plane holds the record for the largest wingspan to have ever flown?
I would say so, Bellino brothers ring a bell?Hambo is up.
I would have also accepted:
Marble quarries
Gateway to Normanton
End of the Savannah trail...
On the first I heard an interesting story yesterday. Apparently there was some scandal involving Chillagoe marble which was trucked as 20+tonne cubes to a warehouse in Brisbane where it was cut into slabs and then packaged and labelled as Italian marble and sold from the next door warehouse for somewhat higher asking prices. No idea if it is true but a good story nonetheless.
That's the second largest!An225 Mirya?
Think I have it - will hold off for now thoughThat's the second largest!
Nope, not even half the record!Ekranoplan?
or the caspian sea monster
EDIT: what was that wacky thing that Virgin galactic launched, had 2 fuselages!
Damn.that was my next guessNope, not even half the record!
although the Antonov is a big bit of gearThat's the second largest!
is DC on the right track?..Nope!
(I AM Google haha)
I saw one parked at one of the gates in Brissy airport earlier this year. It looked comically large next to the aerobridge!although the Antonov is a big bit of gear
The An-124 comes to my work on a regular basis and it is big enough, would love to get up close to the 225!
Probably enroute to Canada after leaving Newcastle, they usually stop overnight before flying to Hawaii and then onto Canada with a fresh shipment of used airframesI saw one parked at on of the gates in Brissy airport earlier this year. It looked comically large next to the aerobridge!
Yesis DC on the right track?..
Pfft. Impossible. That's 'Expendables' levels of testosterone you're looking at there!I still reckon it's the B-36. Thing had 10 engines they've got to go somewhere. Made a B-52 look wussy.
Six burnin' and four turnin'Wasn't the Convair B-36 was it? That plane was cool af.
