I can think of at least 10 other possibilities…chainring being the last, unless it’s new ring/old chain. The chainring is making noises like it needs to be replaced soon
The chain ring is on it’s 3rd chain, and is sucking a bit, as well as the teeth being a bit hookedI can think of at least 10 other possibilities…chainring being the last, unless it’s new ring/old chain.
New tyre?
I say pin it in place, rig up some kind of return spring, and 2-foot ratchet-boost your way down the trails from now on! Zoom zoom!Well it looks like it’s new crank timeView attachment 384955
I have a like for like here, but maybe I should find a set of raceface forged cranks?
I forgot to tighten them up enough before I tried looking for my chain breaker, which I ultimately realised I had left in a park. Then I went for a ride, hucked some rock ledges to flat and rounded the spindle. I replaced the now with my spare set, as well as the tyres because one close call is enough. That is an impressive bit of work. How did you get there?
Huh?And what else is inside panDora's dox..?
Huh?
Your. You're misfortunes/calamities always seem to be jumbled up in a web of issues.
Nope, stay with Shimano…just do the pinch bolts up properly first time.maybe I should find a set of raceface forged cranks?
Ain’t nothing wrong with an honest set of Turbines or old Atlas’s.Nope, stay with Shimano…just do the pinch bolts up properly first time.
Absolutely not. I’m just sayin the crank ain’t the issue….and Shimano are probably cheapest/easiest solution.Ain’t nothing wrong with an honest set of Turbines or old Atlas’s.
Maybe something like a Lyrik, totem, x Fusion vengeance or metric? I want to try something other than a marzocchi for the momentDamn...those fox aren't going to hold up against your track record long. What forks are you looking for?
