+1 for Rushys. Pre-purchase, ordering, and aftersales service was top notch at every step. Then don't do it. Easy. IMO, more than a few 'good' businesses went bad and gipped people out of their money, with a practice of not having any stock but "maybe" it was in stock at the OS supplier, or they had NFI and just happily took your money regardless.
Too Good to be True........maybe.
Some Euro stores might have them
Locally, Try Rushys. I bought a Banshee frame from Leon, and there was a regular communication and I found the process to be good.

Not long at all for the wheels and they were quick and easy to deal with when I wanted to get a new free hub. The only thing they could not do was a rear 142 hub wheel build when I went back to them.Yep, same ones @Jpez alluded to earlier.
Pity, as their pricing for some of their complete wheelsets is very good. How long did it take to get yours?
Are they an ABN business or dudes in a garage? The thing about Raild & The Brig (same mob), is that they're grey importers. Not that they hide it if asked, quite direct with cutting out the Australian chain. That means stellar pricing on stuff, but also that they don't always have it. Some is ordered online through other channels, some AFAIK is brought home when they've travelled, jsut depends on the situation.
I've never heard of them leaving any customer to dry with warranty issues, they tend to sort that out well. But be aware that if anyone was to approach the local AU warranty channels, they'd be on their own.
Agreed though on all of this, the pricing is good, but stock holding less so.
why not both? Are they an ABN business or dudes in a garage?
well.. with no ABN, and no registered trading name... have an online "shop" and a .co www name.... and describe themselves as a "discount retailer"why not both?![]()
Good question, and one I'm not sure of. The Brig does has a .com.au domain, so there must be an ABN or ACN somewhere in the mix.Are they an ABN business or dudes in a garage?
Summit Cycles had them on $490 (OEM unboxed). Not sure if they still have em?It's a pity their Sram XX1 cassettes have gone up so much. They used to be around $400 but their prices now you're almost better off getting them at 99 Bikes on the club discount.
Not on their website. Good excuse to wander in for a look thoughSummit Cycles had them on $490 (OEM unboxed). Not sure if they still have em?
Walk in to see if they have cheap cassettes. Not on their website. Good excuse to wander in for a look though![]()
Based on some recent comments, I'd be getting a firm commitment on when you'll receive your wheels.Anyone bought their 'wingman' wheelsets/rims and have any feedback? They seem to be priced well, quite tempted by a set with project 321 hubs
I've ordered a set recently. Should be with me by the end of the month. Will update here once I've got themAnyone bought their 'wingman' wheelsets/rims and have any feedback? They seem to be priced well, quite tempted by a set with project 321 hubs
