I did the Kellevie 6hr on the single speed a couple of years ago and just ran my normal ratio (32:17) - went pretty well for me. I'd stick with what you know.Gents, a little advice please.
I'm doing an 8 hour on the SS in a little over a weeks time and am wondering what gear to choose.
I normally run 34:17 (26") everywhere without too many problems but haven't ridden any longer than about 4 hours.
I'm considering running 34:18 for the 8 hour to got easier on the legs but have also thought about sticking with the 34:17.
Any suggestions as to which way to go?
What do others run for similar length races??
