I'm not an ardent @Zaf follower, and I'm definitely far left and green (according to political compass), but I think you aren't as nut bag right as you get trolled for. Maybe you are far right for a rotorburner (non ebiker that is, we know that they are full evil) but put you in 8kun (is that how it's spelt?) and you would probably be seen a a sjw leftie snowflake. Long as you don't go homophobic fascist it's good to have a counterpointer even if I don't agree with you.

This is the buffoon who was lauded for his leadership during the Sept. 11 2001 attacks.
Clearly he was "made" by that event, his popularity was paltry before it. Looks like he is returning himself to the appropriate level of ignominy.

I think he built up something of a reputation for "cleaning up" New York City in the 90s with some fairly generic "tough on crime" policies, but I don't really know enough about it to say whether it made him popular or polarising.

It's actually incredible that people are willing to stand up and put their name to this shit. As we've all said before, a Biden presidency isn't going to change anything; the US is irreversibly broken at the moment and it's going to take a long time and a lot of pain for it to recover.

Took the ‘tough on crime’ line, but I recall it being about coloured people crime only.

I cautiously disagree. I think Biden is the right person at the right time. He's a compassionate, empathetic leader and I think he could do a lot to bring the country together. He's already making the right noises that he just wants to get past this current period and start a new chapter.

Feel free to quote this and mock my gullible assertions in several years time when all this is proven to be completely wrong, but I'm quite optimistic.

I agree...but the toxic hatred for ‘socialist pedo Joe’ and the stolen rigged election being stirred up by Trump et al isn’t going anywhere in a hurry. I underestimated how many people would continue to buy this narrative after Trump lost.

In my opinion he is an old institutional dude who has always said the right thing at the time to suit his career but I feel there is zero substance there for anything. I am not Bernie fan at all but it would have been good to see a real reformer in there. I am not a trump fan either but it was good to see an outsider in there.

Is no one willing to admit that this is the most entertaining election ever! and it still has more to give

I'll second this. I see @Zaf as a person who most likely considers an individual's rights as of higher importance than 'socialist' approaches to society which isn't my political cup of tea. However having that counterpoint view is good value for both entertainment and educational purposes, and arguably the majority of people in Australia think this way given the results from our last election, so even though I may not agree with it I find it interesting to try and understand the viewpoint.
