I just don't see how this augurs well for Trump in any way. His supporters have transcended crazy to look outright seditious. I think many Republicans will quietly back down from their plans to object to the certification (whenever that happens now). Even staunch Trump allies like Kevin McCarthy are calling on Trump to denounce this and make it stop. FFS there's footage of them pulling an American flag down at the Capitol and replacing it with a Trump one.
