my vote for track
usual start, st to bottom of fire road, up fireroad, bot T-O-P sections,
v- ditch, a-line climb, st to max's bridge, Lumleys, across the top, ST dh into moto berms,
return to tyre, farmhouse, old bikes, power pole, mesh bridge, trotting track (which has been slashed for some reason, and there is a tree down which you can ride around)
back up the bends to finish

track is sooooo good right now
Rode exactly that config yesterday, it's in superb condition, some unusual slashing has gone on down there?..that whole trotting track area would be a good campsite/transition area!
See you sunday A

Until it rains and everyone gets bogged on the mown grass....
Yeah, we tried it. Everyone remember the 12 hour a few years back? There needs to be some serious drainage work done to it before we could use it...

That said, I know that NPWS's vision is to turn it into a carpark...

... one day.

went down this afternoon for a very short ride.
the track is in amazingly condition. even with no rain it wasn't a
dust pool and what rain has come obviously has been diverted
pretty much perfectly off the track.
big and full props to the trail fairy's - they are on the gear down there atm.

there has been a lot of slashing up the top two power towers as well.
made it a little interesting and felt weird with no "real" path through
both of the towers sections.

Thanks to all for a great race. First XC race for a loooong time and had a blast. That vee ditch on the first lap bought back memories from when it used to be a regular feature. The trail fairies have done some great work with the erosion measures and fixing up some of the rougher sections of track.
Congratulations to all involved and glad to see that WSMTB club seems to be getting stronger and that MWMTB hasn't died after losing the Arcadia track.

thanks WSMTB club for an amazing season.

each RND it was a surprise what track was going to unfold which
really kept the season exciting.

thanks to:
tom & alison + lifecycles for all the work running the under 10kids
race every meet. my 2 boys loved everyone race and were really
unhappy they couldn't make it to the weekends last round due to
illness. they will be back next year.

the trail fairy's for making it so much fun to pedal around.

the timing & support crew for each rnd, along with everyone
who puts it all together as well.

and big dog for waiting in the rain at the gate yesterday as we
all slowly drove out.

congrats to all grade winners as well.

and a personal thanks to the guy who gave me his tube so
i could race on the day.
NTS: never leave the other bag at home with all the stuff
needed to race, like tubes etc

Sheesh, pure efficiency, nice work! Nice track too, first time I've ridden a course with the famed V ditch
Not quite the V ditch of old, much more fun to ride. There were a few familiar "old" faces too which I haven't seen around for a while - cool to see, some still quick and some not as quick as they used to be...
