I'd have to agree. I've only had a go of one of those shopping centre VR thingys and it doesn't take long till you feel immersed even with cluncky graphics. You definitely get sick in VR. Your brain thinks you're moving when you're not. Bit like looking at your phone when you're in the car instead of looking at the road ahead.
Ha, so the answer is to spend a whole lot more money, and combine VR with something like this!Anyway about half way through we decided it would be fun to make it 4d and rock the seat and tilt it etc. This fixed it surprisingly even though it wasn't perfectly syncd.
Spending more money is ALWAYS the solution.Ha, so the answer is to spend a whole lot more money, and combine VR with something like this!

I don't understand how people play FPS games with a controller. I do understand the cost benefits vs PC though!...bf4 on my Xbox...
After switching to consoles in 2012, I still dont get how to play FPS on consoles either! I guess for games like Skyrim and Fallout its fine (single player RPGs), but I found Doom really hard with the controller (sooo fast and twitchy).I don't understand how people play FPS games with a controller. I do understand the cost benefits vs PC though!
I dug up my original 8800GTX out of curiosity that cost me about $1k back in 2007-ish. I thought that it was the biggest badest thing EVER at the time. How funny.
That is the problem, all of that horsepower for a Word document would be depressing :yuck: I've loved PC gaming but couldn't be that arsed now. Console is easier overall and the upgrade cycle is less.I really want to build another PC, because I love the process of scoping out parts, lining up in MSY, coming home with a box of stuff and spending the day setting it up. Just need to come up with a use for it...
I rekon it's a false economy. Console lasts just as long and after that it becomes your workhorse PC/HTPC, porn comp whatever. Console just goes to waste and the peripherals with it. I have a PS3 sitting here and no idea what to do with it. The last PC I had no more use for was good at being a heater (260W GTX260 lol)Console is easier overall and the upgrade cycle is less.
True, I have an original Xbox running CoinOps Gold which is pretty slick. Will keep it for some time until until on the power supply capacitors goes puff. I hate to know that working things can end up as landfill, but the perpetual tech upgrades sure make it difficult. I guess you have to install Linux on the PC and gift it to the PC recycling folks ?Console lasts just as long and after that it becomes your workhorse PC/HTPC, porn comp whatever. Console just goes to waste and the peripherals with it.
I'm up for D2 on the ps4 when it arrives. I'll wait a while till it improves since I'll bet it will need some fixing somewhere. When Destiny 2 is released I'll probably play that, and I wanted to get Halo Wars 2, but couldn't afford it at the time, still can't if I'm honest lol.
That's it' I'm buying this now . System requirements look a little thirsty for me though.Anyone been playing any Playerunknown's battlegrounds. Got around 20 hours now and having a blast!
Yesssss it's a bloody amazing game, I was just in a game then. Got into the top 5 and then a guy somehow rushed into the building and dropped me in a second using a vector . Fair to say I was pretty pissed off. That's it' I'm buying this now . System requirements look a little thirsty for me though.
