The Kflex mod I did weighs next to nothing and absolutely works to protect the rim and improve ride quality. I've put it in 3 sets of wheels with outstanding results. Cost me $11.00 per wheel including the glue.

Put some bits on it. Some borrowed from slayarrr and some new and some out of the scrap pile. F'ck I cannot wait to ride this thing, it looks and feels like a super stout and capable weapon

You'll need 2x for a 29" and for 27.5" you'll need to cut a little off before the second join. Use super glue to join the ends and you're set!

Got the wheels earlier so mine is starting to look more like a bike! and have some more parts expected today, but still need a few bits including stem, seatpost, handlebars, brakes and a chain ring... May do a wanted advert!
