    Latex Tube Recommendations

I switched to the Michelin ones around August on my road bike. TBH I did not notice a difference although I did change the tyres as well at the same time. So far so good, no issues. 2000km's ridden on that bike. One thing to note - you will have to pump them up every ride. Overnight they...

    Riding in China

Hi Guys, Planning on going to China in June for a bit of climbing around the Guilin area, but wanting to visit Hong Kong, and possibly Beijing or Shanghai whilst there. But, I also wanted to squeeze in a few days of riding somewhere. I don't want to take my mtb so keen to basically rock up a...

    WTB: Road Bike with Pink

Hey all, My wife is after her first road bike, to start her off commuting. The mtb that she rides is slowly not doing it. But as always her first criteria is that it has "pink"... So if anyone knows anyone wanting to sell a decent used "Pink" road bike let me know, or even can post some...

    XC Training

I would say I am a casual mountain biker, with a regular 40+hr job and two young kids. Sometimes it is very hard to escape the schedule and the kids to put in extra mountain biking milage to get better. Middle of last year I purchased my first ever road bike and started to commute to work...

Is Strava putting other MTB Riders and the general public at risk?

I think it's the individuals responsibility for not being self centred and be a positive thing for the sport. Yes I use Strava, yes I try to get KOM's but always have respect of other users of the path/trail. I would not hesitate to slow down and check if say a person needed help fixing that...

    Custom cycling clothing?

Hi Guys, I am looking into getting some custom cycling clothing made up as part of our business, so that we can offer to sell it as merchandise and promote our business. We aren't even looking at making any money of it. The amount of hours I spend commuting, I may as well have a billboard on my...

    CF Frame Durability

Thanks guys, this inspires further confidence for a CF frame. Atleast Pinarello have a 3yr frame warranty. In terms of lockup, i'm lucky in a way that I can bring my bike into the office and the shower/change room is close by too. :)

    CF Frame Durability

Hi Guys, I am new to the road bike scene, having done mtb all my life. Quick question about the durability of CF road bike frames and how easy it is to crack/break them. My scenario is a bike for commuting to work, about 150km/week. Would a CF frame withstand (say a basic Pinarello FP2...

    Old air-shocks, how to lockout?

Thanks Guys. Will avoid doing it then. Yes, it has the single headshock on it. I think I might contact Cane Creek and see if they have an adapter. Would anyone local have something similar by any chance?

    Old air-shocks, how to lockout?

Hey Guys, Not sure where to put this silly question. I have a 10yr old Cannondale XC (Super-V) bike which I am converting to a commuter / touring bike. The front shock, is one of those single air-shock types. In the last 4 years I had it fixed twice now, each time $300 a pop and each time...

Riding the bike while not freeriding/dh!

Thanks for the tips guys. I ended up getting a good deal on a Norco Fluid LT2 a few weeks ago. So far I am pretty happy with it. It can handle most of the things i need it to. It can handle going up to the top of stromlo ok, and can handle going down, and jumps/drops. I even did 4 hours...

Riding the bike while not freeriding/dh!

Thanks everyone. I think I have come to a conclusion that for a beginner in this area of riding I don't want anything too extreme just yet, so I have now shifted towards something like a Reign X, Kona Colair, Specialized Enduro, but I think I like the look of the Norco Six 2 the most...

Riding the bike while not freeriding/dh!

Thanks guys. Like I said, silly question but still good to know! I do want to do DH/FR, but wanted to check if the bike can be used for anything else, or there was a versatile solution. Now I understand that I need two bikes, haha.

Riding the bike while not freeriding/dh!

Hey guys, This may seem like a dumb question, but I can't seem to get a decent aswer. I'm from Canberra so I visit the usual places like Stromlo etc, I want to get my first freeride bike, compared to the usual 21/24/27 speed dualies how are they to ride to the top of the hill or basically...
