Great video of Maldon, enjoyed it.

I was out at Tarrengower today, learning my way around a little better. Started off on Lawrence but crossed over part way down onto the track that will be used this weekend - it's in great condition.

Look forward to checking out the action Sat and later on Sun.

Yes, were back again to remind everyone to register online.
https://www.registernow.com.au/mtba/ERegister.aspx?E=535

Only 48 hours left!

If more people don't register online there will be some long lines at rego on Saturday. Then the only people who will be laughing will be the ones who have registered online as they ride past everyone who is stuck in the queue waiting to register.:D

Maldon accomodation is all booked out. Castlemaine is only 20 minutes away and has plenty of options.

There is plenty of room for everyone to camp and it is FREE.
There will be a spit roast to feed everyone, movies on the outdoor screen to entertain and a big fire to keep everyone warm saturday night.

Bring on the final race of the season!!!

Word of warning - if you or friends/family are there spectating this weekend, tell them to be careful walking between trees near the track. There are the most brutally huge spiders webbed in between a lot of the trees and they are mean looking muthers.

Yeah orbs and a couple of other varieties.

It's been a huge summer for spiders in Central Vic. First person out on the trails _every day for months_ had the fun of getting coated in spiders and webs. Funny initially, a PITA after a while. With the change of season the spiders have cut back on rebuilding webs so the trails are now clear up to rider height, it's just the multi layers of old webs off the trail to get caught up in :)

Hoping to get out to Tarrengower again later today for another run or two for fun. Some DH guys were out there yesterday practicing for the weekend, a couple of tents there too.

We were hoping to use the webs as safety barriers along side the track instead of bunting to catch anyone who crashed.;)
