Jason English by 24 minutes over Ed McDonald, then about 15 minutes back to Mark Tupalski. After that, its 3 lasp back to Brett Bellchambers, who is leading the Single Speed category.

Mimi Guillot has opened out to a 13 minute lead over Bec Parkes, who is 1 minute ahed of Liz Smith.

Jason has now lapped every rider except 2nd placed Ed McDonald, over whom he has a 27 minute lead.

Mimi Guillot has a 17 minute lead over Bec Parkes, then 36 seconds back to Lis Smith. Given that if Mimi wins the race, she gets the prizes but cannot win the Australian Jersey, we have a ding-ding battle for the jersey between Bec and Liz.

Stu brown pulled out due to a sore back. He had a minor crash on an off camber section, but his sore back issue was unrelated. He is ok though.

Stu is ok, the crash was nothing of relevance to him withdrawing, he gets a sore lower back from time to time and his usual medicated approach didn't help him out this time around and had to pull in with is a real bummer. No doubt he will get back on it soon and start his challenge for Redesdale in November.
