I'm pretty sure I've said this before in this thread but why would Sam leave MES?

-CRC would have nowhere near the budget of MES
-He seems to enjoy riding with Troy
-Sean and Jacy have been with Sam for ever and a new team would take at least a season to gel properly.
-Specialized have based their entire marketing strategy for the Demo around Sam so I doubt that they would let him go easily

Yeah sorry I was talking about Hill I thought that was pretty obvious.

All rumours and internet talk are on about it and if you look at ridemonkey ok its another forum but prob the biggest in the world with a lot of people in the know on there and there also mentioning the same move.

I don't want him to leave and if he did id like to see him go to just as big a team as MES but when money talks I guess 99% of people will go for it.

Sam mentions in his column in Revolution that he's been working on bike set up etc in preparation for next year. I'd suggest that means he'll still be on Specialized...

Not too sure if its been mentioned...

Apparently Troy knocked back a deal worth massive $$$, to have a team built around him, still on Specialized bikes.. Because he wanted to stay on a team with Sam...

Would be disappointing for Troy, if Sam was too leave MES.

Not really they had been testing the carbon demo for a while before they used them that once for the worlds in 2011, and hannah and couscous have been seen riding polygons at whistler but still in there morewood gear but do you see any photos on the net ?

True, but we've heard about Hannah and couscous testing Polygons at Whistler...
Anyhow, I guess all will be revealed in due course.

I am willing to bet that CRC has a budget far greater than of the Monster energy team otherwise why would he go? It is CRC you are talking about not a small bike shop. Sean is the manager for specialised and has only been dealing with Sam since he started riding for specialised. Jacy will no doubt continue to wrench on Sam's bike no matter what it is.

Could all be rumours and Hill might not be going anywhere

I very much doubt that CRC have a larger budget than Madcatz, Monster and the largest bike company in the world.

Also, Sean has been the manager of the madcatz team since it was founded in 2002/3, not since specialized came on board as a team sponsor.

Here's a pic of an M9 prototype running 650b. I'm not sure what colour SC are running this year though. I'll keep you all posted on progress of the M9 650 as it comes.

why dont intense take the step towards a carbon M9 before they start playing with wheel sizes?
