All my Aliexpress MTB purchases reviewed.

I forgot to get one of these on my last order but it's on the list for the next one!

A laser handlebar/saddle alignment tool!

Review -
I bought one of these a while back as I seem to completely lack the ability to line the front end up by eye haha.
Love it ! Works a treat.
I took to it with the angle grinder as it was a bit narrow between the clamp to fit around my stem.
Opened up to 55mm, wouldn't want to go much more though.
Standard opening is 52 mm.

Anyone bought a ztto brake mount adapter before and know whether the DS01 (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32899693527.html) works with 203mm rotor for front fork? - fox fork, default no mount takes 180mm. I have been using a lifeline one that looks very similar and have had to add some spacers which is irritating.h

Is there any reason not to just get this?

I can, but then have to buy other stuff to get free p/p or else i'll be paying p/p. I already have enough stuff in my aliexpress basket to get free p/p

Don’t have a 99 bikes near by? I bought some Ali adaptors can’t recall where from. Supposed to be 180 to 203 bit no markings and didn’t give correct clearance.

Have given the LTWOO TX 12s derailleur/shifter a go for $80. Thoroughly impressed, crisp shifting. Clutch is a lot stiffer than the AXS derailleur. The ergonomics on the shifter aren't great but my large hands make it better. It'll be staying on for sure.

How are you finding this after a bit more riding? What cassette are running?
I'm intrigued but also terrified at the same time :D

It's great! Put it on my trail bike as well it's that good for the price. Feels like Sram mechanical did back when I had it.

Good to hear. I am fiddling with drivetrain bits and this looks like a good option on price alone. If it lasts your gentle riding then thumbs up!

Yeah I know - I bought it from the same brand as the frame here (same seatpost as you see on the Qonqi frame at 2:12) ->

I dunno man, I always thought basing ur purchases from u-toob influencers is the same as doing your weekly shop thru Danoz Direct. No way I’m watching 4 minutes of some spud that ends up with
“Use my code “tracevelo” for 6% off ur next order of qonqi framesets!!!”
But like I said man, u do u. Godspeed with the carbon spikey boi

Back in my weight weenie days I had a KCNC post light as. Landed a jump and heard a weird noise. Came to a stop to take a look and no saddle or hardware just a post with some ouchy looking bits. Never found the hardware but found the saddle and not far from home so scooted home on the top tube.

Anyone got a link for tubelessrim tape?
Not aliexpress but I’m using scotch 2097 tape from Bunnings. too wide for my 25 internal rims but I’m happy to whip the Stanley blade over to make it fit.
Also have used the outdoor bear tape by nortons Here broski used to be able to get it at Bunnings and mitre 10.
