COVID-19: who’s going full doomsday prep on this?

Forget the whoop, I have no cough at all.

A dry throat, phlegm and a bit of snot.

This started a couple of days after my 2nd shot, so the 16th August.

I've mentioned here a few times since my 2nd shot that I had a bit of cold symptoms and 'I' put it down to the Pfizer as the same happens after a flu jab.

3 months is taking the piss so I went to the Doc yesterday, he is a medical professional and specialises in mens health, a very good one at that and I have been seeing him for many years. He's a popular man as he owns the practice with about 12 other Doctors working there and does a lot of consultation, it took me 4 weeks to get in and see him and he also suspects it may be my immune system reacting to the Pfizer... so has got me to do a full bloods and put me on a strong vitamin intake.

I'll keep yous posted.
out of curiosity are you experiencing shortness of breath when doing random things, but you can ride your bike fine?

Ive had several spirometry tests, bronchal provocation tests, CT scans, xrays, all seems fine and within normal limits. but getting puffed say just picking shit up off the floor. Can ride the bike fine, unless its steep up hill. Gotta walk that, and that kills me. Have lots of phlegm but its so sticky, it doesnt want to come up easily at all. Cough is dry, heavy cardio irritates it. Been on preventors, ventolin, ranges of pills including prednisolone (had to stop that as it reduces immune system effectiveness), mucolytics and expectorants, nothing really seemingly helping.

all the bad stuff has been ruled out, no bronchitis, cancer, emphysema, asthma etc.

Next steps are a bronchoscopy and the idea of that is really uncomfortable.

Im at the point im wondering whether i may have had covid at some point unknowingly and gotten some sort of lasting damage. Would have thought that would have showed up on some of the battery of tests to date.

The breathlessness could be heart related, but it doesnt explain all the other respiratory symptoms. Really annoying me.

Worth getting the ticker checked out. My wife had a known small hole between the left and right atrium which was hereditary and was reviewed several times, but never considered a problem as it was so small. Over the past few years she got laid pretty low by a number of heavy chest infections, culminating in one which turned into pneumonia and pleurisy and took the best part of four months to get over. She also found she was generally getting more tired and breathless but put it down to recovering from the respiratory stuff, plus the joys of aging and peri-menopause (she's in her late 40s). A few months back the daughter had a heart scan as she has the same hereditary issue. Afterwards the cardiologist says to the wife, you are due a checkup, book one in. Turns out that one hole is now five (possibly more), her heart is enlarged and is operating at about 80% efficiency. In hindsight it explains a lot of her health issues and now she has a full cut and shut to repair it coming up at some point.

had the ticker checked a few years prior. was spot on. Am considering getting it checked before i do the bronchoscopy as those tests are infinitely more pleasant

Out of interest did anyone else have zero (or near zero) reaction to their vaccination(s)?
I had the first Pfizer (second on Monday) which I barely felt go in. I was symptom free the whole day until I was doing the dishes in the evening. Raised my arm with something in my hand and the injection site felt sore. Bugger, thought I had got away with it! Mild soreness persisted for the next day.

You were on the train with them too right? You know following a protest around all day kind of makes you part of it....
Hilarious mate. A bunch tried to rip off an older ladies mask. Seriously, family trapped in David Jones at moment. Part nervous and part furious. A nazi flag just went past. FFS

Don't worry they will fall over soon, they can't stand on the side like that forever.
I hope the all fall off the planet. Btw. What does “Dan stole my children!” Mean?

Totally ringed in the city at the moment. We did a runner from David Jones and have taken refuge in a hotel bar. Worse places to be trapped I guess!
