May not be of interest to anyone as a comparison but my kid got sent home from school with a virus (for the second time after being sick with her mum for 4 days bit she didn't do anything about it).
Rang the doctor who said don't come in and make a booking a the purposely created respiratory centre to test for Covid, just in case.
We booked for 1pm and arrived to the centre where we waited outside to be let in by a doc in pretty much full hazmat. Despite being the only ones there they weren't playing. Sanitized 8 times, masks on straight away and we weren't allowed to touch anything whilst there. Got negative result back in 24 hours.
Was thoroughly impressed with how Tassie government is still treating things considering it's all but eradicated here.
Schools, work, shops etc is a whole different story. Nobody gives a shit anymore and most are acting like there is no covid and we never had it as there's not a single precaution being taken. I can see how it so easily gets out of control in a secondary outbreak.
