Little Things You Hate

I tried those super fat wolf tooth grips and didn’t like them at all; back to regular size grips. Don’t think I’d go fat ones in any brand now.

That said I also tried some fizik slim grips wondering if the slimmer the better? That was also a false assumption.
 
Real Estate agents.
We have a rental, first time renting in years. The whole renting process is like what I imagine online dating to be, horrific, degrading.
It's a new build, shoddy workmanship. We were not here for the condition report so I said I refused to accept it.
Moved in and have taken and sent many photos of issues.

We were asked for detailed descriptions of the issues and the remedy we would like so they could push the builder for warranty work.

Fuck you. Not my house.

You're meant to do the entry report yourself, otherwise when you leave they'll try to pin all the stuff on you or say you've done repairs to the house.
Yes, PITA but best off doing it and sending them a copy, and take photos of everything.

I wasn't here to verify theirs, so I sent pics with all the issues that were evident when we moved in - which was in effect editing theirs.
It's a new build so not much wrong but just shonky building.

The owner is interstate and has not seen the house, the RE did the handover with the builder and obviously missed heaps of stuff and wants me to pretty much type up the warranty issues.

I won't get pinned for anything.

Sounds like a lazy or dodgy real estate. In Qld, if you disagree with their entry report you're meant to either add to their original report they sent or do one of your own and send it to them within seven days and get a returned signed copy from them. If you don't have a signed copy of the adjustments you made, their first inspection overrules everything.

As for the structural and build quality, the owners should have had an independent building inspection done on it themselves.

Several years ago we stayed at Lakes Entrance for a couple of weeks, my young kids then and I swam in the Mitchell river, including off the jetty at the missus relatives house in Newlands Arm near Paynesville.

That's going to put a chrissy damper on cooling off for a lot of people down there.

Sydney Harbour should be renamed Bull Shark Harbour. Doesn't seem to stop anyone swimming in it.

Seriously, just stay out of the water at dawn and dusk and you should be fine.
