Little Things You Hate

luckily the cancer hasn't spread. Massive relief, Doctor's talking about the operation and I'm sitting there smiling like an idiot

Its happy days and such a strange feeling, the overwhelming relief to only have stage 1 cancer is crazy, thinking that a few seconds before when the Urologist opened his mouth, your life could have come crumbling down with a stage 4 diagnosis, spread to your bones, lymph nodes and metastasized to other parts of your body.

I've said before here a few times, get your PSA checked blokes ! 1 in 4 of us will get PC in our lifetime and if you are going to get it, find it early and good things can come from a shit situation.

They do have a facebook page...Helibiz Australia

British cycling stealing the mantle off AusCycling as the chuntiest chunts of a cycling representative body.

You aren't allowed to fly a drone in PWS parks and reserves so I would say 16 helicopters would be out.
When they were sprung for it, the heli operator said something along the lines of it being an emergency landing, but it wasn't reported as such at the time, to CASA or any other aviation authority, let along to Tas PWS.
It was their piss-weak excuse for a fucking fleet of helicopters landing in a wilderness area without a permit.

Yes, that's right. You can't have it both ways. Either it was an emergency, and you reported it, or it wasn't.

You can do heli drops out to the Zeehan and Queenstown MTB trails but that's not in a World Heritage area.

I ken hate tubeless! Bugger me, finally got the new tubeless rim tape, removed the old wrinkled Stan's tape, even put in a new valve core. Pumped away on the track pump and up she came, but would the POS stay up? Turned on the air compressor to quickly inflate and bead up on the rim. Within 2 minutes it was flat again and of course sealant spilt liberally in the garage. Only choice left to hit it with the compressor again and leave it running until enough sealant fills in the leaks.

It shouldn't be that hard, rim/tyre combo makes a world of difference.

As for tape, for $15, this has worked for the last week or so.

Bummer that the long-time RB fave blue Bear tape from Bunnies doesn't seem to exist any more, or is just damn near impossible to find now...... :( That stuff was the best when you needed as thin a tape as possible because the rim tolerance was so tight, but was strong enough to not bulge into the spoke holes & split.....
