These days I think it's more likely than a book.Who doesn't have a lathe? Ridiculous.

Bike shops charging ,$1000. to 1200 for a major bike service @ $ 187 an hour labour then telling client it's Cheaper to buy a new bike.
We no longer have a bike shop in town ,so thinking we will do bike repairs because mostly it is quite simple, mostly it is the drive train ,specific parts will take a while to get.
Feeds into the notion that we are consumers. If something breaks don't fix it...throw it in the bin and buy a new one.Bike shops charging ,$1000. to 1200 for a major bike service @ $ 187 an hour labour then telling client it's Cheaper to buy a new bike.

I don't watch commercial television, I don't really watch any TV series or movies. I just don't feel like it. Little thing I hate is I can tell I'm being judged in some social circles for not having watched X, or Y. I don't care...but apparently I'm meant to?
If the service includes bearing replacement and suspension service (fork and shock), the duration is about correct.Bike shops charging ,$1000. to 1200 for a major bike service @ $ 187 an hour labour then telling client it's Cheaper to buy a new bike.

You are not alone in this.I don't watch commercial television, I don't really watch any TV series or movies. I just don't feel like it. Little thing I hate is I can tell I'm being judged in some social circles for not having watched X, or Y. I don't care...but apparently I'm meant to?

A love a good series on TV but now you have to wade through piles of junk on paid streaming services to unearth the good ones. And the reviews are of zero relevance to me as most people who hoard their time bothering to review a TV show are surely on the pipe.Sport is my jam though.
Many years ago my wife was watching some reality junk on commercial TV, I think it was a Bachelor or Bachelorette thing? It seemed to run for a few weeks at a time and fuck was it junk. She passed a comment about how shit the episode was etc etc, I politely said she should skip the next episode and do something more entertaining like vacuum the front gardenIt was less than a week after that that I had removed the free to air TV aerial cable from service to ensure we would not ever watch that fucking crap ever again.
We haven't had a tv for about 4 years. Watch the ABC news and iView on tablets along with SBS and Netflix. Probably don't even watch Netflix enough these daysWe got our aerial disconnected around 8 years ago when we got a shade sail erected. Never replaced it and I don't miss free to air at all. SBS is a streaming app so some good stuff on there.
I will ask the exact details. If the service includes bearing replacement and suspension service (fork and shock), the duration is about correct.
A two-hour job with a beverage in hand at max. So massively overchargingI will ask the exact details.
I suspect it was chain, cassette, chainrings ,maybe bottom bracket and brake pads ,tweak and lube rear derailleur cable.
Same. Have a really nice Panasonic plasma tv that’s still in the store room fro when we last moved house… It’s a very nice TV, but iPads and Netflix just easier and not having a giant screen dominating the lounge room makes it a much nicer space. We haven't had a tv for about 4 years.
