Little Things You Hate

So much anger here. There are fuckwits in every single thing you do in life. Work, ride, drive, shop, restaurants, internet... etc.

Everyone has experienced an asshole at work, fuckhead riders, inconsiderate drivers who have the potential to kill in a split second, rude fuckers in a restaurant (or Bunnings ;)) and internet bullys/heros who can destroy a life by a few key strokes, they are usually all different people who may be 'decent' at the other aspects of their life.

The fucker who dumped the rubbish... were they living homeless in a tent 100m away, was it somebody who lives very comfortably and just an inconsiderate wanker.

Walkers think, fuckheads on MTBs... no distinction if it had a motor or not.

The bloke on the jetty that has been throwing the same squid jag for 2 years is now a fucking bogan plastic polluter.

Everyone is unique and everyone has their flaws/problems/issues. A lot here would be at better peace in their life without categorising people from their point of view as others see it differently and may actually be categorising you in the group you dislike.

Chill RB'ers, we're back online, alive and riding our bikes.

Not long now..... We're all gonna diiiieeeeeeee.

AI bots are already turning on us.

Seems to be a societal problem, no issues when I used a similar service in Germany.
Same. I use them every day to go to work when I’m one work trips in Bonn. Badly parked scooters are very rare. Only dramas I’ve had was absent mindedly setting off down the path along the Rhine early in the morning before coffee had happened and getting told off by a granny for being on the wrong side of the path. In her defence, I was on the wrong side…

There were always plenty of bikes and escooters neatly lined up outside the U-Bahn station. Perfect if you couldn't be fucked walking a couple of km home in the cold!

Whatever man, far too many people get away with being a shit human just because people don't have the confidence to speak up to them. I could not care less of someone's circumstances when they're lobbing their rubbish to somewhere other than a rubbish bin. You've made the effort to obtain and use whatever was contained in the packaging, make the damn effort to dispose of your rubbish. Don't just throw your ciggie butt on the ground, don't throw your half eaten ice cream cone on the ground, don't smash your beer bottle on the pavement.
Good manners are free, they cost nothing and should be overused. They are free, free to learn and easy to learn. It's a damn shame every single person in life can't use them.

I've never had any issue with Eeeb riders and I think that any that are dicks, are dicks on anything they ride/drive. It's not the Ebike that makes them a dick.
Ebikes (or anything with a motor) allows the dick to be a dick much faster and with a lot less effort. That's the issue. Treating pedestrians as slalom skittles while hoofing through them on a meat powered bike requires a level of fitness and perseverance few dicks possess.

Anyway, my hatred is reserved for e-scooters; fuck my taxpayer dollars going towards your facial reconstruction because you rode it like a moron (seemingly the default setting) without proper protective gear (ditto). Either sign a waiver or wear a full face like all the one wheelers do.

I do agree that a lot of dicks will be attracted to things that take less effort, but the fault is in the dick, not the choice of weapon. As was mentioned before, you talk to any diehard bush walker and the majority think that all MTBers are dicks.
Are all mountain bikers dicks? No, of course they aren't, but in the case of said bush walker, the ones that they interact with obviously are. Same goes for Ebike rider, scooter riders and such. Also, remember those pesky skateboarders and kick scooter riders that terrorise the footpaths? You have a bad experience with a few, and it pushes your opinion that they are all the same.

Much like 'motorists' and 'cyclists'.

Prices of blocks of land. I bought one in 2018 for $85000 - 1012sqm....
Today - 943sqm block for $295,000 - FFS. And that is actually well priced compared to others around here and the size too

There is no reason for it. It's just an arbitrary figure made up by someone.

To be honest, there should be more land for medium density living with numbers guaranting public transport services. We can't just keep building single storey pads with car dependence locked in.

The area I grew up in in Adelaide is trending that way. Drove through it last week and three quarters of the street was at least two stories. The block our house used to be on now has three town houses on it. All on a bus route. In fact, the bus stop was right outside my bedroom window.

That’s actually not too bad. Adelaide suburbs I live in 30 min south of CBD have gone mental. Empty 600sqm block down the road went for $650k a year ago. o_O

Microsoft Outlook not auto-correcting from Capslock in e-mail headers. In the body of the message there's spellcheckers/corrector, "AI generated" predictive text, and text automatically swaps from aLLCAPS to Allcaps - But it can't do the same for the e-mail header. (We use capslock a lot in our work, so this crops up often...)
