1 : Buy a dual cab ute or a decant car rack .
2 : Do some trail work a few days a year is enough
3 : Ditch your girlfriend if she complains about your bike / riding and find a new one . Remember the story of the old bull and the young bull to give you strength .

3) Don't fuck with the trails. If you can't ride a feature, walk around it, learn to ride it or go & ride somewhere else that's better suited to your ability. Don't destroy trail features because you're a gumby.

3. Learn basic maintenance of your own gear. (Zinn & the art of MTB Maintenance)


Sorry 3 isn't enough.....

4. Support the LBS when possible...10% over online cost is usually my limit for big ticket items, cheaper things sometimes convenience is king so a good LBS will win out.
