Snatch is a classic. How good is Brad Pitt in the right movies.

Wife put on Game Night (I think?) on Netflix last night. Some funny scenes and worth a watch on ‘ladies night’.

I was dog sitting the other night. As the evening dragged on I succumbed to rubbing up some Netflix. I'm fairly new to that kind of stuff and spent a long time trawling through all the options looking for something that didn't sound like a formula...in the end I decided fuck it and put on Apocalyptic Now. I hadn't watched it for a very long time.

I probably started watching it a bitate in the evening...and fell asleep not long before the big climax! Then woke up not long after the big climax!! Talk about anticlimactic!!!

Relatively speaking. Is the franchise going to win any awards? Clearly not, but it had a story and I for one was keen to see the story resolve.

I expect most people watching it are not doing so because they want to watch an intricate and interwoven narrative. Not everyone wants the same thing / taste is personal.

Top scene. It opens strong doesn't it! I was chatting to a mate about it this morning and it's got some very ingenious kills in there.

And I really love the dogs going full tilt on attackers, dragging them off by the crotch / arms long after they've been shot.

Also, bringing back Marc Dacascos - I used to rate him for martial arts fighting too. Hasn't lost his touch.

He was good. I thought that it was funny when I saw him on Iron Chef America last night, I was waiting for his ninjas to start taking out all the sous chefs...

Very true. If kill porn is your thing then (judging by the first film) this series has you covered. The popularity of the Wick series (and really most everything else new I've viewed in recent times) clearly indicates that I'm a long way off trend in my cinematic tastes. Suddenly Keanu is all the rage and has come a long way from the 47 Ronin.

Moving along. Brightburn.
It's actually rather well done I thought. Of course yes, it could have taken more time to develop, but if you've got kids, or remember being one there are some very relatable scenes in it (obviously not when your child turns into a threat to the planet).

If you're squeamish / jumpy, it's probably not the film for you.

the Meg, haha...been waiting Ages to see this, and now on netflix...its utter crap, but I enjoyed it.

On another note, my GF who grew up in the 80's and is/was a big fan of 80/90's teen movies, saw Heathers for the first time today, haha, dunno how that happened.
