Big thanks to VW Nut for posting this up already!

There's some great rumors on here, we'll spread some more in the next couple of weeks.
And yes, we won the rights to host the worlds, we'd talked about it drunk one night but honestly didn't think we stood a chance. rocked up to the worlds with no plan or shebang, up against Belgium, Bend Oregon and South Africa who had, shirts, posters, slogans and loud voices; we just had a couple of beers and had a crack.
chopsticks, cream buns and beers followed a bunny hop comp and we had qualified. Shit didn't expect that, so we drank sake.
After the race there was a sort of soccer game decider, where we had to straddle our bikes. I've really been enjoying watching the A league over the last few years and through some sort of osmosis I managed to kick a goal in about the first 2 minutes, eeeeek. I'm pretty shit at stress so when the Belgians couldn't equalize i was literally chewing my hat.
In true skippy style we just did enough to get by, 8 minutes later history was made.
The exact location and date is yet to be defined, we plan on having a meeting during the nationals, so there is even more reason to get down there.
A lot of people dont realise that the SSNats is not run by a company or profiting organisation, its run by dudes who ride bikes. Any additional funds (if there is any) go back into the next years race or in this case the worlds.
When was the last time you went in a truly grass roots race?
Spread the word, about single speeding, the nationals and the worlds....your chance to be a WORLD CHAMP!
Aido
