Sister in law and her family live in Wisconsin. They are moving back here in a couple of weeks and can't wait to get out of there.

I didn’t say Australians were not pretty horrible too…

I’ve been the US a bunch of times, always enjoyed. Always ended being asked a bunch of really nasty and stupid questions by very very ignorant people.

Clearly they’re not all mouth breathing arseholes, but their history is littered with a lot of really disgusting behaviours. Trump being clearly representative of a majority of people is no real surprise.

So ignorant people are horrible? Just because they are insular does not make them horrible. I have found in my experience the average American much more friendly and hospitable than the average Australian or Brit.

Same. Super friendly. Scratch the surface on a lot of them though and they’re super friendly about saying some genuinely terrifying things….
