So so good. Just what I need to kick it up a gear!
Been on a stoner rock binge for too long, time to mix it up abit.
.
Holy fuck I am glad I’m not a project manager, it’s a special kind of arsehole that puts their hand up for that gig.So so good. Just what I need to kick it up a gear!
I’m on the job site today because some tool project manager can’t organise trades properly. Grrrrrr..
Seein them play at sydney uni on friday.Yeeah-eah-hup. Birdman are a favourite of mine. A band I was in used to warm up with "New Race" and/or their version of "You're Gonna Miss Me", I still love pushing the Marshall up a few extra notches, strapping on the Firebird and belting out the latter.
One of the most important Australian bands of the late 70s.
Ah good, I’m not wasting my time then. Amazing band, but some of the gigs I’ve been to weren’t all that, just trading on the name and chargin a mint.Enjoy the gig, you're seeing royalty as far as I'm concerned.
I'm going on the Saturday; have seen them a few times previously at the same venue, as well as the Factory and the '96 BDO gig of which you speak - always tops.Seein them play at sydney uni on friday.
Will report back on how kind age has been, or not if the rose tinted glasses need to stay on?
Was a pretty good gig. The first support band killed it too, can’t remember their name. Not listening to them right now, but certainly was last night; Radio Birdman in full flight at the Manning Bar, Sydney Uni. Great set.

Los Chicos, from Spain, they were sensational. The less said about the second band the better; the singer and the guitarist (in red) were two of the most annoying turds I've seen onstage in a long while. Was a pretty good gig. The first support band killed it too, can’t remember their name.
I didn’t mention them for a reason their set was......... “different”.Los Chicos, from Spain, they were sensational. The less said about the second band the better; the singer and the guitarist (in red) were two of the most annoying turds I've seen onstage in a long while.
