What did you do TO / WITH / FOR your bike today!

I'm sending it out the front today. About as fast and effectively as Aus Post, but I'm sending it.

Reckon I've almost got as high as the lip a few time.

Really feels like something out of 40 Year Old Virgin. 41 year old trying desperately to jump further than a foot.
I reckon you could clear that dark house across the street, it's doable ..me thinks

It was still packed 2-4 as well. Even on heartbreaker climb! Oh well, at least people out exercising. Going to try Kowen or Majura tomorrow.
I’m having second thoughts about my usual support for newbies in mountain biking... I think now I’m hoping all this interest is short lived and they all bugger off again!!

I fucked it up way worse than that lol. Completely missed the berm!
Was a nice ride prior to that.

Warning to anyone who doesn't want to see a big slam

Well that wasn't the crash I was expecting! From the screen shot I was going to guess you pulled a t-bar after landing a bit crossed up. Then you said you missed the berm...and gave the warning...I thought "shit! He has landed and ridden straight through the back, pinged off the wall, into the big tree!"

How's it all feeling this morning?

Impressed by your commitment to putting out the edit.

Well this highlights my mtb naivety.

I had to google 50:01, and still didn't get the inference. Good or bad, hip or hopeless... I'm not sure.
They're just a bunch of young blokes that ride pretty shreddy, you'll find them on YouTube. ;)

Going ok this morning, bit of a rough sleep.
Just the one arm thing is going to get old very quick. And yep had to do my left side being left handed lol.
Glad I only did this by itself, would not be nice to add ribs and other stuff on like others have had.

Video gave me something to do while feeling sorry for myself yesterday arvo lol.

Got an X-ray? How much of an angle is it going to set on?

Haven't got a copy yet, only looked at it on the screen, but that was with me holding it before they could get a sling on. Looked pretty bad, but settled a bit once supported properly. Might get a copy when I see a fracture specialist this week for followup.

Did they specifically rule out having it plated?

She didn't go into it to much, I guess just being the ER doc. But did say they prefer not where possible. Sounds like a story I've heard before!
Will see what this week brings.
If it’s under 30 degrees and less than 1-2cm overlap they leave it alone... So if it looks like mine in any way, push for surgery - it will be a permanent reduction in shoulder function.

Despite the extra weeks of pain and general life on hold, I’m glad mine didn’t heal properly and I’m getting it fixed back to it’s proper orientation...

Was thinking about this the other day, I'd say it's another flavour of the day sport or fad, pretty much like tennis and cricket was back in the day. I can see why land managers are getting fed up, but the problem is that all the people that are doing the right thing are going to pay for them.

Finally got my brakes running really well, just before the new ones arrive haha
Sparrow/Kowen were pretty empty
