What did you do TO / WITH / FOR your bike today!

Got out of work a bit early and got a ride in at Kowen. Stairway to Heaven still got me, but I sessioned the one that beat me until I beat it :)

Stunning evening for a ride. But many great trails gone since i was last there - sad face 😢

I think I’m about to as well - happy?
Yeah good. Took it down a notoriously clapped out trail with lots of braking bumps and it definitely smoothed things out..I usually avoid riding it on the little bike but can add it back to the rotation.
Had to add some air to get it to the recommended 30% sag I'm at 250psi now on the float X, but didn't need to adjust anything else and it rode good..looking now I used full travel at some point but can't say I felt a bottom out.Its still a little bike but now the back end feels as capable as the front end.

Good to hear.

*Goes and checks cascade's website for smuggler link sale. Followed by Googlefu-ing coil shocks 🫣

Thanks for the thoughts. How did the support feel for popping off things and pumping?

I like this aspect of how the Smuggler rides already.

Transition do know how to tweak a long running standard suspension platform into a playful bike!

It's mostly hand cut steeps and jank at my local, The few jumps and drops I did hit felt the same as usual. Never felt like it was blowing through travel.

It’s a good price at the mo, so worth the risk I reckon. I have a spare shock I could use to give it 140 at the rear and run maybe a 150 up front with that (140/120 stock) - two bikes in one?
