Me too. shat off that they don't seem to be indicating any ETA on new stock. Chunts. That's nice, but I think Moorey was hoping for another hope hoops deal
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/au/en/brand-x-ht-01-27-5-hardtail-frame/rp-prod130452I'm looking for a 27.5 hardtail frame with a threaded BB. Anyone seen any good deals on a 'medium-ish' size frame?
I built one of these up (in a small) for my 12 year old (mostly with recycled parts from my 2015 Trance Adv) he likes it and the frame looks the goods I reckon. Not super light but seems plenty stiff. Have a 140 fork on it, seems people have used anything from 120-160!http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/au/en/brand-x-ht-01-27-5-hardtail-frame/rp-prod130452
Less than $200! Only downside is no thru axle. 68 degree HA.
Just saw that last night when having a look. Not too fussed about the thru axle as it's going to be my work commuter bike.http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/au/en/brand-x-ht-01-27-5-hardtail-frame/rp-prod130452

Many things ail me Moorey. HT frame on CRC seems like a nice deal.Just go 26, and I have what ails you.
*May fit 27.5”
*not a guarantee.
I bought a brand-x 27.5 frame a few months back from CRC - postage was free.Mad not to. Even if perfect, postage on my frame would be the killer.
They still post frames free, I assume?
Looks really nice built up, ripper bike for a 12 year old!I built one of these up (in a small) for my 12 year old (mostly with recycled parts from my 2015 Trance Adv) he likes it and the frame looks the goods I reckon. Oh dude ... you know that you can thumb forward the Shimano shifters just like the sram ones !!??? Only been able to do that for the last 10 years !!Seems like they are not part of the sram geoblock. I have zee stuff on the hardtail and get on with it ok, but overall just prefer the sram shifter ergonomics. Makes more sense to have a system where you can keep index finger on the brakes whist shifting ( and commence controversy....).
