2013 Rocky Mountain element vs Altitude

Element! Get the Element BC, its a no brainer. The Altitude is an amazing bike, but for what you want to do the Element is much better suited. Also, purely on the sizing an XXL Element will fit you like a glove, whereas once again, for the riding you do the Altitude is going to be short due...

'some' MTB specific greases...Are we being sold a pup?

http://pushie.com.au/#/slickoleum/4563207772 Slickoleum is Slick Honey but much cheaper. It's well worth using as opposed to other greases but the price of Slick Honey is retarded.

    Rocky Mountain 2013

shock position is pretty important to say the least. having a low top tube (and shock) helps keeps the centre of gravity lower for better cornering and weight transfer. plus it does help when manouvering the bike, clearance for knees is a lot greater and lets face it, if you slip forward...

Saturday or Sunday? When do you like to race?

Saturday! It means you can race and still have a weekend/well earned rest the next day. Driving long distances home on a Sunday night is borderline dangerous. I got well over racing DH as it consumes a whole weekend. I love being able to race and still maintain some form of social life.

FGP Dirt Crits Westgate Melb, Thursdays 6:30pm.

bit weird. both nick and I kept rolling through and rode the tight singletrack after the first corner as a cool down, then rolled back towards the bbq via the pumptrack. at no point did we go near the timing pad apart from when we left the race, which was well after presentations. i really have...

FGP Dirt Crits Westgate Melb, Thursdays 6:30pm.

Nick Rudzki and I DNF'd???? Is this because we ate beyond our allocated amount of bbq products after the race??? In that case it should have be DQ'd, not DNF'd. :orange: in all seriousness I know I came in front of Ben Healey - i can still feel the hurt.

    Contour VS Gopro

I've owned a Contour HD GPS and now own a GoPro Hero 2 (contour was ridden into the ground at speed). Loved the Contour, especially the GPS functionality, but the whole time I had it I was jealous of the mounting of the GoPro - chest mount is by far the best view for 'first person' action -...

Rocky Mountain Slayer - More down than up?

Considering the slayer is a bike more orientated to descending, I've found it amazing that everyone that rides it talks about it's climbing ability more than anything else. Weve had some fantastic feedback from customers who took or demo bike out, so much so I've just ordered one for myself. I...
