I used a 30.9 KS LEV dropper & a shim on a Banshee seat tube that is 31.6mm with no issues. It's a proper shim, not a home-brew one. Can't remember the brand. +1 I got sick of never having the right size dropper for a new project so it is 30.9 droppers all the way for me too. A decent quality machined shim with a shoulder on the top is the key to success, even the cheapos that were like shim stock that chain reaction used the sell are shite.

I'm not so sure. I ordered a Pirelli XC H Lite and received and Pro Wall.
Emailed asking for the right tyre and was told they only have Prowall, their supplier doesn't even carry Lite. The entire listing is wrong.
