Bargain buys thread

Or the bike was chained up and the front wheel stolen. There aren't too many people too stupid to lock the main part of the bike up. A fellow once attempted to steal the wheels off one of my bikes. He was unable to decipher the complications of a rock shoxxxxxx maxxxxxle and only got away with the everyday qr axle rear wheel. A few months later our paths crossed and after a polite conversation he gave me back the stolen wheel, which he had on his person at the time.

Decent prices for the droppers and the cassette... I didn't quote the $140 down to $79 tyres on purpose ;)

I have a Helix cassette on my Spur, nice cassettes, less weight and half the price of a X01/XX1.

Yeah good price, nearly bought one till I saw how long the total length is...
Yeah, I used a long rigid seatpost to check the insertion length of my frame, it'll fit with only 10mm to spare.
Should be exactly my seat height with it slammed to the collar. Good for this lanky boi

Another free kick to the landlords of the nation. MTB is now tax deductible lol.

I've ran a lot of mtb stuff, including whole bikes, through my tax. I was employed to ride my bikes at the time, but there would be ways in the modern era as well. Perhaps you have an air bnb that includes access to your mountain bikes?

Keep the ideas coming, I'm always looking for a "legitimate business expense "
I don't own any air bnbs but I don't think a bike for normal tenants is going to fly with the ATO.
If anyone runs a "consultating" business I'd be happy to purchase roughly an Acto Fives worth of consultation!

Maybe you are leasing the bikes out through a ride/car share type app?

Almost time for a theft on one of your current bikes, wink wink

Aren't most gravel bike frames (notwithstanding XC bikes) 27.2?
