$250-300 would be sane. You can't charge for install of parts on a used bike. The parts are now worth $150, the rest of the bike $150 if it's 7-8/10 conditon as it appears to look from the pics.

The add is wrong in so many ways. Even if they were 985 pedals they wouldn't be in an xt box as 985s were xtr. That's 2 wrongly listed pedals this week. I let the last bloke know and he changed the add. May have let this person know as well.

and PD-M985 specifically relates to SPD pedals and not flats too!

I'm starting to think some 90% of ads could happily sit in this thread at the moment.
Kmart bikes with price tags over retail, 10-15 year old bikes with 5year old price tags, it's a bargain hunters nightmare

4 grand is pretty ridiculous. What he paid for that little guy and what we paid for our mutt (also 2.5ish). was bad enough.
Dogs are the best people, but damn.

Same, have rehomed 4 samoyed over the years.

They are intense dogs, not a dog you can leave in the back garden alone unless you’re aiming for a Martian theme.
