Cycle Underground aren't doing chainrings, or any bike related products anymore

Do you try build your bikes out of older parts, or do you go out and purchase newer bits?

My bike, the blue one, is all new parts, bar the frame which I stripped and repainted. The red ladies bike is 100% recycled bits and pieces though.

BO Gear straps

a lot of guy have those twitsted plastic pedals. i got some dmr v8s (pins!) with BO gear straps. very sturdy.

Yeah BO Gear straps are great, highly recommended. Im mates with the designer/manufacturer in Brisbane, great bloke..

That should be fine mate, get in touch with Southcott (Felt in Australia) and see what they'd advise.

Had a similar issue at work with a warranty where the store had closed down, it worked out fine. Felt should be willing to help.

I'm looking for a standard alloy wheelset, lowish profile rims (no deep v's!) and black/silver hubs...

guys to finish my build i still need; stem (pref mtb style 1 1/8), bars (flat mtb), pedals/straps, cog/lockring (15t or 16t), chain, saddle, seatpost, and tubes/tyres.

anyone selling these or know good places to get them please let me know or pm
