My thread in search of a large 26 single speed frame is dying a cold and lonely death. Does anyone have a link to a new 26 SS specific frame? It appears on one are out of stock indefinitely, and I'm not finding anyone else who still builds one? Thinking I might have to ditch 26 and go for the bargain basement Kona unit complete option as a solution to my small frame problems

on-one inbred 26 ss.

Pearlwhite, i have two. In large.

Edit: sorry mate on-one have sold out. Tried to get you a direct link but no dice. Depending on where you live you can have my old v-brake one free? Won't post though so you gotta be in syd.

Decided to give my old faithful Sanderson Soloist a spruce up. Ive never fully stripped or built a bike solo so this was a bit of a learning curve. Pretty happy with how it came out.

Starting the tear down with my head mechanic

All stripped apart from the headset cups

An hour later and finally got them

The old Reba's copped a quick seal replacement.

This was the bit I was most worried about but the headset cups went in pretty easily. Happy with my little tool from bunnings!

Coming together. The eccentric bb was a bit of a pain as the threads had a little over spray from coating.

Diallied!! Super happy with the result, still yet to get it out for a lap... Hopefully my shoddy workmanship doesn't let me down mid lap!

Cheers!

This is my Trek Superfly SS
Absolutely love this thing. So comfortable and nimble.
Changes from stock are:
Bontrager XXX seatpost
Bontrager RXL Carbon Bars
ESI Extra Chunky Grips
Thomson 80mm Stem
Charge Scoop Saddle
Rocket ron on the front
Absolute Black Oval ring 32t
Fitted a Reba RL today - riding rigid is so much fun but the novelty wears off after 10months - wanted to make this bike a little bit more capable
Will fit some fat tyres(Maybe ardents 2.3") over winter
Have purple fork decals on the way to match

mate, im not sure whats nicer, your bike or the place your riding. where is it?
Top shot is of the Sandstone Track above Cascade in South Hobart. The second shot is of the Ridgeway Track descent to the Waterworks. Both in Tasmania. Love the rigid bike. The Cotic Simple is SO GOOD! Here's another picture to get you stoked, Caves Hill Track in the Meehan Range:

Jealous. Fancy adopting me? My inbred looks a little bit povo next to these niners and that cotic. I could do with a new bike.

Took the Simple out for a lash on the local moto trails last Sunday. Celebrated the eve of the weekend by buying a race entry for the Single Speed World Championship tonight!

My son received his bike on Saturday. Birthday present. 14 years young!!
Absolutely loves it. Went riding on Saturday and Sunday.
We are doing our first 6 hour race together at Lysty this weekend. So if anyone sees him out on the trails, give him some encouragement. All I hope for, is that my lap times are quicker than his!!!!

I bet he loved it! Its a gorgeous bike.

I've been droppin hints to my old man, promising undying love and a sweet old folks home later on but something about being 23 and fully employed is tellin him i can buy my own toys.
