The shop owners are ‘concerned about the trend’....but only concerned that they can’t get enough guns, ammo or staff....

Oh 100% - Some of the shops are even trying to hire more staff to meet demand.
It actually gets more interesting if you know the background of some of it :
Ammo has actually been hard to get in certain sizes for a while and that is a demand vs manufacturing issue - So a lot of shops imposed buying limits on ammo unless the ammo is bought with a gun - So if you already own weapons and just want ammo you have to buy a new gun to get ammo for the old gun :)

Gun sales skyrocketed with corona virus and seems to when the Dems are the power. Now the People are probably fearing restrictions being imposes or zombies, being America likely both

Just because the voices, or the tweets, as the case may be - tell someone to do stupid things, doesn't mean that they automatically have to carry those commands out like some sort of fucked up Manchurian candidate.

Well this was part of the Republicans election campaign - They told everyone that Biden would take their guns - and as we know Americans can only have their guns taken from their cold dead hands so I am sure they panic bought since the election as well.

There is a line of defence being bandied about relating to a king of mass hypnosis / hysteria defence - that people got caught up in the energy / hype of the crowd and were overwhelmed and felt that they couldn't resist and had to follow into the building.

In a country that spends over 2% of its GDP on litigation (approx. $310 billion a year) I'm sure they're well prepared to vomit out all kinds of amazing defences that avoid any semblance of personal responsibility. But if they want to go down that path it all goes back to the one person who was both responsible for it and conveniently happens to have billions in assets just ripe for the taking....
